SUCCESS FROM THE START
Since 1983, Cardinal fencing center (former Stanford fencing Club) has been an athletic home for hundreds of recreational and competitive athletes of all ages.
OUR BEGINNIGS
Cardinal Fencing Club is competitive fencing club, founded in October 1983 by coach George Pogosov.
AWARDS
This award recognizes the fencer with the highest percentage of overall improvement in all games.
FIRST MEDALS
In April 1962, Cardinal Fencing Club hosted the largest college-level fencing meet ever in the country.
JUNIOR TEAM
Comprehensive training programmes begins with our Youth-12 Squads through to our Elite squads.

During this time, the club brought up an incredible amount of fencers who have succeeded on local, national, and international levels. Many athletes who have started their fencing careers with us went on to successfully represent Stanford University, and other prestigious NCAA Institutions such as Princeton, Yale and Duke.

FENCING GYM
Our current state of the art fencing gym is the Home of the Stanford NCAA Team.
It meets and exceeds all of the USA Fencing and FIE requirements, which makes it truly one of it’s kind in California. The gym was created in 2006 with exact specifications from our elite level coaches, with the athletes’ safety and their success maximization in mind. The Center is over 9000 square feet, is extremely well lit, is fully air conditioned, features air insulated and flexible floors, has ten inbuilt full-length grounded metal fencing strips, and premium electronic scoring equipment.

NEW MEMBERS
With the help of this grant funding, the Cardinal Fencing Club continues to grow fast with a variety of different aged fencers.
COURT LOCATION
Above all, Cardinal Fencing Club operates in a friendly and fun filled environment where the focus is solely on all the students.
JUNIOR TEAM
From the start, Club members act in accordance with the Fencing Code Comprehensive of Conduct and Ethics.
CHAMPIONS
The fencing program consists of one 30 min. session per week, and a program featured children based on their best abilities.
